Note Taking Mastery by Louisa Porzel

Note Taking Mastery

Learn to take high-quality notes and study from them!

Sound Familiar?

You're trying to take notes, but you don't know what to write down.

You have no idea what "good notes" look like.

It takes waaay too long to take notes from the textbook.

You go to study, but your notes don't make any sense to you.

Take a deep breath, friend. I can help.

Couse Description

Note Taking Mastery is here to help! This course will teach you how to use a consistent style when taking notes, take effective notes in class and from the textbook, optimize those notes for studying, and use your notes to study.

This is a step-by-step program that walks you through the planning process, shows you what information to focus on when taking notes, and teaches you how to study from those notes.

However, this is not one-size-fits-all program! I provide multiple strategies for all types of learners. And you also get planning worksheets and reference guides to help you along the way.

Can you find this information on the internet? Sort of. There is some information on the internet about note-taking, but it's all in different places. You have to search on this site and then that one to find it.

That's one of the things that makes this program stand out - you can find out about all the parts of effective note taking in one place.

There is also a lot of inaccurate information about note taking on the web. Instead, I've gathered techniques that reflect the latest in scientific studies about the brain and how we learn.

Meet Louisa

I am a private tutor and former high school Social Studies and Study Skills teacher.

As a high school teacher, I expected students to already know how to take notes. Until the day I stopped using PowerPoint to give notes and students had no idea what to write down!

Fast forward to today: I left the classroom and am tutoring privately. And guess what? Many of my students have no idea how to take notes.

That's why I created this course - for students to learn how to plan, take notes, and use those notes to study. Let me take the frustration and drama out of note taking!
